Searching the Internet

Introduction

      The internet is a great way to get information from all over the world with literally the touch of your fingers.  You are now going to embark on a voyage that has the capabilities to bring you to the far reaches of the world.  Prepare for the journey of your life!

The Task

• To use different search engines and find a variety of sites on the internet.

• Write a very brief description about different sites you find,  including what you like and don't like.

Here are some suggested search engines.  Use some of these,  but feel free to use others you may be familiar with.

The Process
List the site URL Write a very brief description about the different sites you find,  including what you like and don't like.

1. Find a site about your favorite food.

2. Find a site about sports.

3. Find a government site (.gov).

4. Find a site about a famous person.

5. Find 3 sites of your choice.
